The process The process is a little bit different in every state, but here are some tips to get you started.
Find a local liquor store Find a liquor store that sells your brand.
In some states, the liquor store you are applying to must have the liquor license in hand.
If you do not, there are ways to get a license.
Find your nearest state liquor stores You can use your state’s liquor retailer locator to find a local store that stocks your brand, but that will not always be the case.
Some states require the store to have a liquor licenses in hand, but many states don’t.
Check with your state liquor commission to make sure you’re not out of luck.
Get the paperwork You will need a valid identification card to get liquor licenses, such as a state ID card or passport.
You also will need to fill out the application online.
If that is not an option, you can obtain the paperwork online through the Liquor Store Licensing Division.
If all else fails, you may also have to pay the licensing fee.
It is a $50 application fee and a $100 license fee.
If your application is approved, you will receive your license and your license will automatically be sent to the store that bought your brand of spirits.
When you receive your liquor liquor license, you must show the information listed on the license.
If the store didn’t have your brand in stock, they may have to wait a few days before you can go in and check on your brand again.
Your brand will be marked on your license, and if your license is expired, you’ll have to show proof of expiration.
It’s up to you if you want to renew the license if it’s expired.
If a store does not have the brand in their inventory, they can still buy the brand from a distributor.
If they do not have your name on their license, they will mail you a form to renew.

Depending on the state, you could have to spend hours waiting for your license to arrive.
You may also need to pay a $150 fee for a new license.
Some stores will require you to bring your name to the licensing office to get the paperwork.
That is a process you will have to do separately from the application.
Your new license is valid for two years.
You can renew it on the spot for $125.
Keep in mind that if you get a liquor business license, your business name will be listed on your business license.
That means you may need to change your name after the expiration date.
