If you read a newspaper obit, you’ve probably been through the telegraph’s obit system.
Here are a few things you can do to fix it if you’re having problems with the system.
The obit page has three sections.
First is the “subject” section.
Second is the news item and its title.
Third is the text of the article.
This section is where most of the errors that occur are.
For example, a headline on an article about the first time a person dies could read: The First Death in New Zealand is…
The First death in New England was…
It is common to find that the article has a “title” section which lists the names of the person and/or their family members.
To fix this, simply add a “Title” section to the end of the text in the subject section of the obit.
I would suggest using a text editor like Notepad to create your own “Title”.
You can find out more about the article title and how to add it to your document by going to the article you wish to edit.
Now for the actual obit itself.
Firstly, a “subsection” is added to the title section.
This is where the headline and the text are put together.
Subsections should contain a heading or a headline tag.
If you want to include more information in the title than is in the headline tag, you can include a footer.
A footer will not only tell readers what the story is about, but it will tell them what information they need to know.
Another way of adding a footed heading is to use a headline with the following information: “The first time” or “The First time was”.
If the article is a news article, you will need to use the headline “The story was told by…” or something similar to tell the reader what you want them to know: “This story was reported by…”.
Finally, you’ll need to add a footnotes section to tell readers that you have added information to the headline or footer that you wish them to read.
You should add a footnote with the title of the story, the date it was published, and a link to the original article if it is a website.
When you are editing the article, remember to include the following content: “The author of the news article is listed as the author of this article.”
“This article is available at…”
“A link to this page has been provided to this article by…”
“For more information, go to…”
